Eco-Shell is Fjällräven"s own high-function shell material giving complete protection in wet-weather and tough conditions. At the same time, it also meets strict sustainability requirements because, in our opinion, you just can"t compromise with the environment when you are out there in the wild seeking out magnificent experiences.
For that reason, Eco-Shell has an outer fabric made of recycled polyester which has been impregnated without using fluorocarbons (environmentally hazardous substances that spread further when you wash the garment and also when you wear it in the great outdoors). The membrane and inner fabric are made of polyester, making it easier to recycle when the time comes. In addition, the Eco-Shell garment is climate-compensated.
